Stanford Pancreas Cancer Retreat 2018
/The Stanford Cancer Institute and Stanford Pancreas Cancer Research Group invite Stanford Physicians and Researchers interested in pancreas cancer, to attend the Pancreatic Cancer Research Retreat
To meet the challenge of understanding, preventing, diagnosing, treating and - ultimately - curing pancreatic cancer, the Stanford Cancer Institute (SCI) has developed the Stanford Pancreas Cancer Research Group (SPCRG), led by Drs. Laura Attardi, Seung Kim and George Fisher. The SPCRG is comprised of a superb, inter-disciplinary team of collaborative investigators from multiple Schools at Stanford, including the Schools of Medicine, Engineering, and of Humanities and Sciences, studying basic, clinical and translational problems in pancreatic cancer biology and patient care. The SCI is committed to supporting the SPCRG mission to foster discovery, application, and translation of scientific knowledge about pancreatic cancer and its complications and improve pancreatic cancer care.
Members of the group are committed to advancing research and care for pancreatic cancer by supporting research collaborations, support for innovative investigations, education, training, research progress meetings, outreach, and translational efforts. Please visit the Pancreas Cancer Research Group (SPCRG) website at: https://www.pcrg.stanford.edu/.
